FootGolf

FootGolf is a combination of soccer and golf; played with a regulation #5 soccer ball at a golf course facility, with 21-inch diameter cups. At Eagle Ridge, it's played on the East Course, with 18 holes from abbreviated tees, as FootGolf does not play to normal putting greens. FootGolf holes also have shorter looking flags adjacent to fairways.

CART RIDER POLICY – Strictly Enforced –
All cart drivers must have a valid state driver’s license.  Due to hilly topography on the East Course, we can only allow a maximum of two occupants in a cart at all times.  This includes juniors.  Families with more than two children should make arrangements for an extra driver.  Only older children (10 & above) can walk the course.  Younger children (9 & younger) should ride in the cart.  This is due to safety and pace of play concerns.

BASIC FOOT GOLF RULES
  • Review the scorecard and wait your turn.  Make sure your kick will not interfere with other players.
  • Kick off your ball from a position up to 6’ behind the tee marker.
  • The ball must be played in a single movement.  You are not allowed to push the ball with the top or bottom of your foot.
  • Wait to play until the ball has come to a complete rest.
  • Play the ball from where it lies.  You are not allowed to move the ball or remove jammed objects.
  • The player farthest from the hole is the first to kick the ball.
  • The order of play is established based on the score of the previous hole.  The player with the best score will kick off first on the next hole followed by the second, etc.
  • If the ball lands in a water hazard, retrieve or replace it within 2 steps from the closest land point from where the ball entered the hazard.
  • You have finished the hole (holed out) when your soccer ball hits the flag stick.
  • We recommend using turf soccer shoes (indoor) when playing.
